Performance: Lee Pivnik’s Institute for Queer Ecology showed Mecha Body Mall, a project by Posadas (Pablo Herza + Ignacio Hernández Murillo), which in turn invited artists to wear their work and perform at the end of the first night; the artist Nicolo Gentile was included, in addition to showing his work outside.

Portland Oregon will document their artist-run scene starting in the 1970s and running through today. This publication focuses on progressive forms of contemporary art making and the waves of energy artists brought to their practices during this time.
Partner Biography:
Iris Williamson (b. 1984 Cocoa Beach, FL) is an artist, curator, and producer based in Portland, OR. She co-founded HOLDING Contemporary, a project that fronts as a commercial gallery and runs on an experimental business model. Previous projects include co-founding artist-run spaces enter:gallery (NYC), Dugg Dugg (Charlotte, NC), and Southern Holiday (Charlotte, NC), as well as curating for the city of Charlotte during the 2012 Democratic National Convention. Williamson received her MA in Critical Theory and Creative Research from the Pacific Northwest College of Art and her BFA in Studio Art and Art History from the University of Florida.
